Here is a special episode of The “Innovate Guam Podcast” with Rob “The Innovation Coach” Jackson.
Today I talk with Sam White, retired Air Force colonel and command bomber pilot who has flown the T-37, T-38, B-52 and B-2 stealth bomber.
Sam was the former 36th Operations Group Commander at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam from 2015 to 2017. He has a bachelors degree in aeronautical engineering from the US Air Force Academy, a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal State Fresno, and a Masters Degree in Systems Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology.
We talk about the challenges and myths of flying the B-2 stealth bomber, training for long missions, flying missions, how the B-2 is fueled during flight, more people have been in space than have flown the B-2, and Guam’s value in Pacific deterrence.
